How Nitrino learns your voice

The agent learns from your real replies in each channel, is scored against replies it never learned from, and you can test it yourself before it writes to anyone.

A voice belongs to one person in one channel. Your email and your LinkedIn are two voices, because people write differently there: a letter with a greeting in one, two lines in the other. The voice covers length, tone, how you address people, punctuation and what you never write; the facts and the goal still come from the agent. The first lesson reads your latest replies straight from the account, within ten minutes of connecting it, so the voice starts before the inbox fills up. After that it keeps learning from new replies and reads older history further back. The agent's own letters are never used to teach it.

How the score works

  1. Once enough of your replies in a channel have been read, the voice gets a score out of 100: how close the agent's reply is to the one you actually sent, on your replies kept aside from learning.
  2. A new description of your voice replaces the old one only if it scores higher on the same replies. The score never goes down.
  3. When several new descriptions in a row stop raising the score, the voice is marked settled. Your new replies and edits start learning again.

Check it yourself

  1. “Check the voice”: write as a client, or pick a line such as “asks the price” or “silent for a week”, and see how the agent answers as you. Nothing is sent, stored or billed.
  2. “Spot your reply”: pairs of your real reply and the agent's reply with the same meaning, and you pick which one is yours. Only you see it, not even the workspace owner.
  3. “Correct” under any letter of the agent's: write how you would have put it. The letter is not changed, and the correction reaches new letters within about ten minutes. A draft you rewrote before sending counts as your own letter; a small edit counts as a correction.

When there is nothing to learn from

A new account without history can write in a colleague's voice, with the colleague's corrections, or in a voice you describe in a short setup chat. Until a voice is gathered, the agent follows general writing rules and your own letters in the same conversation, and the sender's card says the voice is still learning.
